Mission
Our mission and purpose is to glorify God through J.E.S.U.S. — Joyful worship, Encouraging the body of believers, Serving others, Understanding Scripture, and Sharing Christ with the world.
Joyful Worship
We worship God through song, prayer, and personal testimony led by our Praise Team and Worship Leader. “Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” (Psalm 100: 1-3)
Encouragement for Believers
We encourage each other through personal relationships, special events, and monthly luncheons. We also encourage one another by carrying “each others’ burdens” (Gal. 6:2), praying for each other (Col. 1:10), and spurring “one another on toward love and good deeds” (Heb. 10:24) “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” (Hebrews 3: 13)
Service to Others
We continually look for opportunities to serve our neighbors. “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…” (Eph. 2:10). We meet needs through a variety of ministries, including our annual food drive, preschool cooperatives, ministry to the homeless, and several children’s programs throughout the year. “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4: 10)
Understanding Scripture
We teach God’s Word through sermons, Children’s Church, small group Bible studies, and our children and youth programs. We want to be like the early Christians who put an emphasis on understanding Scripture. “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom…” (Col 3:16)
Sharing Christ with the World
Jesus commanded us to: Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matt. 28:19). We financially support a number of evangelical ministries and missionaries. “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” (Mark 16: 15)
